Landscape Architecture expert of great repute. Retired as Senior Professor, Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi. Has been member of the Expert Group on Zoo Designing of the Central Zoo Authority, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India for more than 15 years. Guided and evaluated many zoos on infrastructure development, landscaping and zoo architecture on behalf of Central Zoo Authority. Attended and addressed several workshops and conferences on Zoo designing and concept of Zoo Architecture. Has compiled, written and published many books and scientific papers on landscape architecture and related field of activities, besides a recent compilation ‘Designing for Zoos’. Provided guidance and consultancy for large number of organizations on the field of specialization.
