One of the pioneer Wildlife Biologists of India, Dr Vibhu Prakash has been working with prestigious Bombay Natural History Society since 1980. As Principal Scientist in Bombay Natural History Society, Dr Vibhu Prakash is In-charge of internationally acclaimed Vulture Conservation Breeding Programme and has made significant contribution in Gyps Vultures recovery in the subcontinent. Produced Master Plan and Working Manual for Vulture Conservation Breeding Programme. He is member of recovery plans of many critically endangered wild animal species nationally/internationally and has more than 60 research papers to his credit. Has long association with Central Zoo Authority, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India as member of its Governing Body, Technical Committee and Expert Group on Conservation Breeding. Also, member of State Board of Wildlife in the state of Haryana.
